This route covers the region known as the Central Highlands, including the departments of Guatemala, Sacatepéquez, Chimaltenango, surrounding areas of Lake Atitlán, Huehuetenango, Totonicapán and the high areas of the departments of Sololá, Quiché, Quetzaltenango and San Marcos.

There are 10 destinations in this route, most of them located in the high mountain region, so we recommend warm clothing. However, in some destinations like Cayalá in Guatemala City, as well as Finca El Pilar and Finca Filadelfia near Antigua, the weather may be warmer.
